Definitely helps convert shoes with a gripping sole for slide and line dancing. Could be a little longer to cover more are from the toe to mid sole. They are tight which is good to keep them on but it can get uncomfortable if on a softer sneaker and more than 3 hours or so.I ordered these dance socks on prime day and chose these as they had a nice savings. I wear them over my sneakers for line dancing and they worked greatLove these socks for dancing. I teach two line dancing classes. Boots/leather shoe soles are best for dancing -- keeps the strain off knees. These socks do the same thing. . .for a lot less money than buying a pair of boots. Been using these for about a month now and I think they're great. If you're like me and have been dancing in tennis shoes, it may take a bit to get accustomed to turning and sliding your feet on the floor. Give 'em a try!Easy to use and reuseMore heavy duty but less friction-free than other dance socks I've had. Fits over a size 9.5. men's running shoe but the left one tends to creep forward and come off. (I suspect this doesn't happen on the right because I pivot on the right much more often.)I wear these over my regular shoes to do line dancing. They make it easier to do turns. It helps protect wear and tear on the joints.Once in awhile one will slip off but not very often. I probably didn’t put it on far enough back on my foot.I can use these in my line dance class. They help me slide more easily as I make turns. Have told others about it.
