I have read this book several times in paperback and have always enjoyed it. I like to reread books; I don't want to waste my time on books that bore me, but I will struggle through them. The Dancer from Atlantis is one I really like. Poul Anderson had scientific training, as did all of the science fiction authors I really like, and I do appreciate that. The possibility of time travel is the only departure from known science that I detected in this book; of course, that is what makes the plot work. I love stories with historical settings, although I don't claim expertise in history. I am happy that I finally bought a Kindle version of this book.
