I read the reviews but was shocked to see how ridiculously small these shorts were! I ordered an ADULT small. The sizing is like a CHILD small. See for yourself in my photo. The shorts are shown on top of a GIRLS size XL (14-16) sports pants by Champion C9. The shorts are for my 11 year old daughter.These shorts are labeled as made in the USA, so I don't think there is a problem translating foreign sizes to USA sizing. I'm glad this item has free returns, otherwise I would be very upset. Fabric is heavier and seems nice. However, I'm not going to bother ordering a larger size (would I need ADULT XL based on the size gap?) and will look for a different brand to buy.I love it. This short fits perfect, doesn't distract during dance and looks very nice. Good product.thank you
