I did end up sizing up initially (from my normal medium to a large) because I was nervous about it being too tight, as dance belts are meant to be tight.. but it ended up being too loose. The large fit very comofortably, but it was very high rise and didn't offer much support or compression in the pouch. The company was great to work with. I got a medium as they agreed that would provide better support. It definitely does, and it still fits everywhere comfortably, just tighter and not quite as high. Definitely recommend.
